Matrix Basement Finishing is an award-winning home remodeling company recognized nationally for craftsmanship and innovation. We’re growing fast and looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Inventory Control & Warehouse Associate to join our Arlington Heights team.

This role supports daily warehouse operations, ensures material accuracy, and keeps our remodeling projects running smoothly year-round.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory control through regular counts and audits.
   
• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials and supplies.
   
• Pull, stage, and distribute materials for job sites and installation crews.
   
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely (training available).
   
• Track inventory using warehouse management or inventory software.
   
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
   
• Communicate with field teams and project managers to coordinate deliveries.
   
• Assist with truck loading/unloading and occasional delivery support.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree in logistics a plus).  
• 2+ years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory management experience preferred.  
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.  
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, or inventory systems.  
• Forklift experience or certification preferred.  
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.  
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work overtime as needed.
