Job Description:

Role: Cloud & Data Engineer – Actuarial Domain Preferred

Location: Gurugram
Experience Level: 8-11+ years
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role:

We are looking for a Cloud & Data Engineer to design and manage robust data and cloud infrastructure supporting advanced analytics and AI initiatives for actuarial team. The role requires close coordination with IT and infrastructure teams to enable seamless data flow and integration across systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain cloud-based data infrastructure and pipelines to support analytics workloads.
  • Develop and manage scalable data pipelines for efficient data processing, including data ingestion, transformation, and integration from multiple sources.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for seamless integration and deployment of AI/ML models.
  • Ensure data availability, scalability, reliability, performance across environments.
  • Collaborate with ML engineers, IT, and actuarial teams for deployment and monitoring of AI models.
  • Implement API-based integrations and automation solutions to improve data operations.
  • Drive adherence to data governance and security best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience in cloud platforms (preferably Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Proficiency in data pipeline design (ETL/ELT), APIs, and integration frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with data engineering tools such as Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, or equivalent tools.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates).
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
  • Familiarity with AI/ML model deployment pipelines
  • Excellent problem-solving, collaboration and communication skills to interface with cross-functional teams.

Exposure to actuarial, financial services, or insurance data environments preferred.
