Job Summary

The Network Engineer will assist in the configuration, management, and support of network and security infrastructure across enterprise and cloud environments. The candidate should have hands-on experience with routing and switching, network security principles, and exposure to SD-WAN and SASE technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Support, configure, and troubleshoot firewalls, switches, routers, and VPN solutions.
  • Assist in the administration of WAN, LAN, Cloud, and remote connectivity environments.
  • Upgrade and patch network and firewall gear to mitigate vulnerabilities reported by the Security team.
  • Monitor and maintain network and firewall performance, applying updates and configuration improvements as needed.
  • Collaborate with IT and Security teams to implement and maintain secure network designs and configurations.
  • Support incident response and problem resolution related to network or security events.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, topologies, and procedures.
  • Ensure alignment with cybersecurity best practices and frameworks (NIST, CIS Controls, etc.).
  • Participate in network infrastructure and SD-WAN/SASE implementation projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems
  • 2–5 years of experience in network administration or network security.
  • Working knowledge of next-generation firewalls (NGFW), ACLs, VPNs, and routing protocols.
  • Experience supporting WAN connectivity and remote access solutions (e.g., IPsec, SD-WAN/SASE).
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and adapting to new technologies.
