The role

The responsibility of the role is to lead and deliver high-quality pension error remediation activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellence in member outcomes. This role is pivotal in supporting the integrity of pension data and processes to ensure a right first time for members. Other accountabilities will include supporting on data management and rectification, review and maintenance of non system documentation as process specialists. You will act as conduit between administration and change teams within Member Services to ensure both needs are effectively met in the change delivery process.

As Seniors, you will lead remediation exercises to correct historical pension errors, ensuring fair and accurate outcomes for members, collaborate with actuarial, administration, and data teams to validate and reconcile pension records and provide technical support and mentoring to junior colleagues.

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.

The person

We are looking for someone with proven experience within a project management or process improvement role, as well as experience in pension calculations, ideally across multiple scheme types. You will have significant understanding of regulatory compliance, risk mitigation and member communications within pensions. Demonstratable experience in error remediation or data correction projects is key to this role as is having proven experience in defined benefit administration and process optimisation. You will be proficient in Excel and pension administration systems.

We are looking for someone with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive evidence based decisions. As a Senior Pensions Specialist, written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity, empathy and member centric outcomes is key to this role. You will also have the ability to build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders at all levels within the business. A desire to share best practice and mentor junior colleagues is key to help to encourage a culture of continuous improvement across Member Services.
