The Maintenance crew member works as a member of the maintenance team in collaboration with the Lead Maintenance and Director of Facilities.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 4:00PM

What your day might look like:
Perform electrical work, light carpentry, plumbing, systems maintenance as needed. Wash and remove blinds/window treatments.
Perform and/or coordinate lawn maintenance and snow removal as necessary.
Perform custodial work as needed.
Respond to after-hours alarms as necessary.
In collaboration with the Lead Maintenance and Director of Facilities, identify areas requiring repair and maintenance.
Perform daily activities for maintenance team as assigned.
Enjoys working both on an individual and team basis.

Your skills and qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Safety consciousness essential
Valid NYS driver’s license
Must be able to climb stairs/ladders
Must lift/carry up to 50 lbs. and move furniture with assistance
Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time
Must be able to push/pull, stretch and bend to accomplish janitorial/maintenance requirements
Ability to work independently required and take initiative to perform tasks not specifically assigned when determined to be necessary.
Minimum 3 years in facility management or related field necessary
