Description

The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall development, performance and staffing of the branch while upholding the PF Swagger and competencies by growing branch sales, operations, and operating profit.

Primary Duties:

  • Participates as an active member of District L10: including annual strategic planning, weekly meetings, and as needed committee work.
  • Leads, manages, and provides accountability to Branch Sales Team: including coaching and training, goal setting, annual strategic planning, weekly meetings, and as needed project work.
  • Key account development and sales growth in all key sales areas (e.g., fastener, non-fastener, vending).
  • Partner with the Finance and District Manager to develop and monitor annual branch sales and operating profit budgets.
  • Manage and lead branch in accordance with PF Swagger.
  • Consistently model and focus on effective branch communications, both Internal and cross department/branch.
  • Oversee and train on day-to-day operations of branch to include quoting, follow-up, order entry, branch procurement, expediting, delivery, and record keeping.
  • Identify opportunities to grow revenue and profitability in branch territory.
  • Develop and execute branch goals.
  • Assists with the recruiting, onboarding, and training of new hires. 
  • Accompany Sales Reps on high level sales opportunities.
  • Evaluates the efficiency of business procedures on a regular basis according to organizational objectives; suggests and applies continual improvement.
  • Execute company strategic initiatives in branch territory.
  • Branch facilities maintenance and cleanliness.
  • Maintenance of all branch assets.
  • Assist in day-to-day sales and operations of branch.

Qualifications


  • Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-3 years of sales experience.
  • Prior sales or leadership experience required.
  • Exhibits company Swagger.
  • Strong ability to lead people and process.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to think critically and independently solve problems.
  • Time management skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • The ability to lift, slide, and lower packages that typically weight 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs.
  • A well-organized team player who can relate to employees in all departments and all levels of organization. 
  • Proficient in common computer software/programs including Microsoft Office and database software.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Must be able to obtain coverage through company's auto insurance carrier according to company Driver Safety Policy.
