About the Department

Colorado State University Pueblo (CSU Pueblo) is committed to providing high quality and fully accredited courses for its students. We deliver college-level instruction through multiple modalities, including both online and in-person formats. Courses are offered on our main campus as well as at partner satellite locations such as Pikes Peak State College, Arapahoe Community College, and Spanish Peaks.  Our programs assist a variety of students from those seeking to enhance their professional credentials, to college students seeking to earn extra credits, to those who want to earn a degree.

Position Duties

**All responsibilities of faculty members at CSU Pueblo are in accordance with the Faculty Handbook. The Faculty Handbook is the authoritative guide on specific requirements with regard to teaching assignments, scholarly activity, research, and service.

CSU Pueblo, a regional, comprehensive university, is soliciting applications for adjunct faculty in all subject areas to teach lower and upper division courses in multiple modalities, including both online and in-person formats. Courses are offered on our main campus as well as at partner satellite locations such as Pikes Peak State College, Arapahoe Community College, and Spanish Peaks. Payment is based on a maximum of $785 per credit hour for a Master's degree or $885 per credit hour for a terminal degree. 

Primary Duties
  • Provide timely coursework feedback to students and program staff.
  • Ensure that course materials are up-to-date and complete. Communicate immediately with Instructional Designer and program staff when errors are found.
  • Keep up-to-date gradebooks and provide final grades per indicated deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in instructional area
  • Experience working with varying student populations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Terminal degree in instructional area
  • Prior experience teaching undergraduate courses
