Senior Tableau BI Lead Architect Vice President bei Citi

As Sr. Tableau BI Lead Architect, you will lead consulting, design and development of tableau dashboards in collaboration with Business Analysts, Business Users, Stakeholders, and other team members in determining the scope, formulating plans and delivering actionable, insightful dashboards tailored for Citi Executive Leadership, Application Owners and other relevant audiences.  As a Tableau Architect, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing end-to-end Tableau BI Reporting & Analytics platform across Citi Technology Infrastructure Estate Application. Overall, you engage in the entire lifecycle of Tableau analytics dashboards as required, including business requirements gathering, functional and technical specifications write-ups, building prototyping models, development, user acceptance testing, production deployment, enhancements implementation and maintenance.

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Product Owner and Lead Business Analysts to understand reporting needs, translate requirements into technical specifications and implement decision-driven Enterprise Reporting Solutions
Act as Tableau Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the design, development, integration, testing and production support of interactive data visualizations across Citi “OneEst8 - Infrastructure Analytics & Insight” application
Lead and own the development, testing and maintenance of Tableau BI reporting interface/platform. Support team members in integrating Citi products with Tableau Embedded Analytics 
Develop tableau workbooks and dashboards aligned to business requirements and analyst/stakeholders’ direction and implement best practices for data visualizations design to develop insightful, impactful and informative dashboards
Develop and maintain data source connections, data extracts, and data models to support reporting and analytics needs. Execute automation of dashboards, ad-hoc reporting, migration, and maintenance of scheduled jobs required for dashboard refreshes
Perform Tableau Server administration tasks on-demand such as creating users and groups and assigning content permissions, add data sources connections, scheduling dashboards to the business users etc.
Write Custom SQL Queries, for data querying, data cleansing, data mapping and data analysis in MS SQL Server and build Stored Procedures for data processing, data pipelines and automation
Execute test plans and perform QA/QC to assure the functionality, data accuracy, data quality and data integrity for tableau reporting and dashboard solutions
Debug and Troubleshoot data issues and performance issues within Tableau dashboards and implement solutions to optimize performance, User Interface (UI)/User Experience (UX)
Provide tableau training to new team members and empowering them with tableau development skills and best practices in building effective dashboards
Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Business Intelligence software and data visualization techniques. Incorporate new features and capabilities into existing reports and dashboards.
Skills/Qualifications:

Strong understanding of data visualization and design principles, with the ability to transform complex data sets into simple and intuitive dashboard visualizations
Experience with software development best practices, including all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). 
Proficiency in designing, developing, maintaining, and managing data-driven Business Intelligence dashboards. Understanding and ability to execute resource planning and dashboard development timelines
Strong advanced tableau developer skills including Table Calculations, Complex Calculations, Parameters, Geographic Mapping, Data Blending, Extract Optimization etc. Through knowledge of Tableau Server Administration/Management
Expertise in enhancing and optimizing tableau dashboards with features including Quick Filters, Filter Actions (Drill-Down), Tiled and Floating objects, Containers, Sizing, Dynamic Title Sheets, Navigation system etc.
Proficiency in SQL programming (window functions, aggregations, CTEs, subqueries, joins, pivots) for data manipulation and data querying. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (MS SQL) database is required
Ability to assess query performance (e.g., query execution plans) and recommend improvements (e.g., query refactoring, indexing, table partitioning)
Strong knowledge in Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) data integration process and ability to perform data transformation (aggregation, pivots etc.) techniques for enhancing data quality making it suitable for data analysis and data visualization
Solid understanding of the principles of relational and dimensional data modeling
Nice to have experience in Python, HTML, CSS and JavaScript for UI/UX development
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and efficiently to meet deadlines. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized and prioritized
Skills in both verbal and written communications, interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills.  Good at technical writing and documentation

Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Management Science/Statistics, MIS, or relevant discipline with professional work experience

Overall 10+ of experience of IT with expertise in implementation of Enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) platforms
7+ years of experience with Tableau BI including Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, Tableau Prep  or similar BI tools such as Power BI, Jaspersoft, Qlikview/Qliksense, IBM Cognos etc.
7+ years of experience in Data Visualization, Dashboard Design, SQL, Analytics in delivering Business Intelligence (BI) solutions
5+ UI/UX design experience desired, but not required
