Description

ECI is seeking a Staff Accountant who will play an integral role within the controllership function. The position will be a leader in the close process for multiple locations and will be involved with preparation of financial statements. This position will report to the VP/General Manager, MRG.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the month-end closing process including journal entry preparation for multiple locations
• Prepare all the month end reconciliation and account analysis
• Track Capital spending
• Perform ad hoc analysis
• Be the primary responsible for the entire AP process (from invoice posting to creation of the payment run)
• Assist in coordination of deliverables to external auditors
• Work with cross function leaders and provide applicable support when requested
• Maintain records in accordance with company policy
• Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field preferred; in lieu of degree, 5-10+ years of relevant experience required
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Established analytical skills with ability to communicate findings to team
• Experience with integrated ERP Systems
• Understanding of US GAAP

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
• Prepare and analyze financial reports for decision-making
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data
• Work independently and collaboratively within a team

Primary Location, Work Arrangement & Eligibility

• This is a full-time, on-site position based in Norwood, MA.
• Remote or hybrid options are not available.
• Relocation assistance is not provided; candidates must be local or able to relocate at their own expense.
