Position Summary
This position plays a critical role in supporting our mission to drive informed decision-making by delivering reliable data solutions, insightful analysis, and meaningful visualizations. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical skills with the ability to understand business needs and communicate effectively across the organization. Industry experience in mining, natural resources, or a related field is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reporting solutions to provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.
- Prepare, manage, and optimize data pipelines and workflows (ETL/ELT) to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
- Partner with business units to gather and translate requirements into effective data solutions.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Utilize SQL and data analysis techniques to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Support the adoption of emerging technologies, including large language models (LLMs) and AI-driven analytics.
- Leverage knowledge of mining processes and operations to design analytics solutions that support safety, production efficiency, maintenance, and cost management.
Qualifications/Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data or analytics role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL.
- Intermediate knowledge of ETL/ELT tools (Matillion DPC preferred).
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of relational databases (Snowflake preferred).
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau preferred).
- The job is based out of Coeur’s corporate office in Chicago, IL.
- 20%-30% travel to the operations will be required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python for data analysis and automation.
- Exposure to LLM models and AI/ML applications.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish).
- Prior experience in mining or heavy industry.
- Familiarity with mining processes such as exploration, production, processing, and maintenance, with the ability to translate these into data and reporting needs.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $74k - $87k range. The salary range is a good-faith estimate. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
