General Accounting Intern – Summer 2026

Location: Bowling Green, KY & Nashville, TN

About the Role:
The General Accounting Intern will gain exposure to a broad range of corporate accounting functions. This internship provides an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in a professional setting and develop a foundational understanding of general ledger management, financial reporting, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Support preparation of financial statements and reporting schedules.
• Help review and maintain general ledger accounts and documentation.
• Participate in audit support and process improvement projects.
• Collaborate with finance team members on ad hoc analysis and data validation.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced team environment.
• Basic understanding of GAAP principles preferred.
