Position Details

  • Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week)
  • Location: MNGI Digestive Health Maple Grove
  • Salary Range: Starting range $22.90-$25.64/hour (Where an applicant may fall on the salary range will vary based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience & education)

Key Responsibilities

Leadership: Serve as a role model for MNGI’s expectations for culture of caring in accordance with the behavior standards policy.

Day to Day Clinical Support:

  • Works in collaboration with site leadership and the education department.
  • Identify learning styles and adapt training in accordance with these determined needs.
  • Provide consistent, thorough, and accurate departmental orientation for new employees or transfers in accordance with policy, validation tools, protocols, and guidelines.
  • Complete training documentation in an accurate, consistent, thorough, and timely manner.
  • Provide timely feedback to the new hire regarding their training progress.
  • Take responsibility for the new hire training and ensure that the new hire is appropriately assigned to duties in accordance with the training plan and the staffing needs.
  • Accountable for staying current with processes, policies, and company expectations and provide feedback as appropriate.
  • Proficient in role in order to serve as a resource for staff.
  • Participate in growth and development sessions for the job role, as indicated.
  • Facilitate new hire progress meetings with manager and communicate regularly during training.
  • Collaborate with management as appropriate to discuss plans for roll outs, process changes, and actively support rollouts.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, support change and function as a proud representative of MNGI.
  • Perform Clinic Assistant duties in direct patient care per Clinic Assistant Job description.

Essential Functions: In order to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily and regular attendance is required. Education and/or Experience: 

One of the following is required:

  • Associates Degree with 1 year direct care experience
  • Diploma or equivalent from an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with 1 year direct care experience. Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
  • 1-2 years experience with an electronic medical record is preferred. Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Internal Growth Track: If no degree or certifications, must have at least one year of experience as an Centralized Scheduler, Specialized Scheduler, Patient Coordinator, or Endoscopy Technician at MNGI.

Certifications/Licenses: CPR certification is required. Ability to gain certification will be provided through MNGI, must be completed within 6 months of start date.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to walk, sit, stand, reach overhead, and bend to the floor. The employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. The employee may be required to lift and transport items up to 10 pounds occasionally. Employees may be required to travel to other company locations due to staffing and training needs.

 While performing the duties of this position, the employee works in an office environment. The employee is exposed to a computer monitor daily. The employee may be required to travel by automobile and exposed to changing weather conditions while performing the duties of this position. The employee is exposed to a computer monitor daily.
