Position Summary
The Inside Sales Manager will lead and motivate the inside sales team to achieve specific goals and ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction. This position is responsible for the oversight or performance management of other employees.

- Work with the Senior Management Team to develop and implement the sales and marketing plan.
- Maintain a close relationship with Manufacturing and Quality personnel to manage customer orders and resolve any issues.
- Drive continuous improvement within the sales administration & operations process.
- Lead and monitor progress on key customer projects.
- Work with customers to understand their future needs, inclusive of evaluating forecasts.
- Manage the Inside Sales Representative team and report on their needs/training.
- Set and track sales targets based on collaboration with senior leadership team.
- Develop and manage new programs with key customers.
- Coordinate department projects to meet deadlines.
- Report on sales metrics and suggest improvements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
- Use customer feedback to generate ideas about new manufacturing capabilities.
- Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement.
- Ensure sales policies and procedures are met.
- Build an open-communication environment for the sales team.
- Travel will be required, such as to customer locations and trade shows.
- Obey all safety rules, use caution in work activities, and continuously practice safe behaviors.
- Immediately report unsafe conditions/behaviors and work-related injuries to site supervision.
Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years of sales operations or inside sales experience
- BS degree in Business Administration, or relevant experience
- Possess basic manual dexterity and mechanical ability.
- An ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, to all levels of the organization
- Understanding Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
- Must be able to apply standard techniques in creating sales projections and forecasts.
- Ability to make decisions, both independently and as part of a group.
- Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Excel.
- In-depth understanding of the sales administration process necessary.
- Excellent interpersonal and team management skills required.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Numerical abilities and problem-solving attitude.
