A lovely family in Peyton seeks a part time nanny for their three children, ages 2, 4 and 6 years old, for an immediate start.
Care is needed long-term on Tuesdays from 8:15am to 5:30pm, Thursdays from 11:15am to 5:30pm, and Fridays from 12:15pm to 5:30pm. The ideal candidate will be flexible, as the family’s homeschool schedule may shift from year to year.
The children enjoy creative activities such as arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, and baking. The family follows a French-inspired feeding approach (offering a wide variety of foods, encouraging one bite of everything, and limiting snacks between meals). The household includes two friendly kittens and a family dog who may bark, but is good with new people. No pet care is required beyond occasionally letting the dog in and out.

- Compensation: $28 per hour
Responsibilities
- Diaper changes for the 2-year-old
- Driving children to and from outings + school pickups
- Facilitating nap time for the 2-year-old
- Homework help for the 6-year-old
- Engaging the children in screen-free activities like arts & crafts, reading, and outdoor play
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of paid professional toddler care experience
- CPR certified, or willing to become certified
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and valid auto-insurance
- Reliable transportation for driving children. Occasional use of a personal vehicle may be needed; the family car is available most of the time.
- Able to provide 2 childcare-related references from a paid, professional setting
- Able to successfully clear a background and social media screening
Compensation + Benefits
This position pays $28 per hour, and the family is looking for ~20 hours of care per week.
- Three vacation days per year
- 2 sick/personal days per year
- Guaranteed 20 hours per week
