The Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA) for PACE are responsible for providing the highest quality of skilled and non-skilled care in the community to continue enabling them to live safely at home. The CNA will follow the established plan-of-care for each participant that may include but not limited to:
- Meal preparation
- Monitoring vital signs
- Dressing, changing, bathing
- Light housekeeping Duties
- Specimen collection
What is PACE?
PACE or Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly is a federal and state funded program that provides comprehensive, coordinated, and proactive whole-person care to help maintain and improve seniors' health so they can live safely in their homes. There are 180 PACE programs, serving more than 80,700 participants in 33 states.
The number of people aged 55+ is increasing in Grand Junction, CO and the demand for eldercare professionals is on the rise.

You Bring:
- Current Colorado CNA license, maintained throughout employment.
- Experience working with older adults preferred.
- A genuine spirit of caring and compassion
- Valid Colorado driver’s license, adequate automobile insurance and access to reliable transportation if working in the community setting
- Proficient in computer programs, particularly Microsoft office products.
- Current CPR certification is maintained throughout employment.
- Ability to learn EMR charting systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Effectively and respectfully communicate both verbally and in writing in a multitude of situations and settings, including highly emotional interactions.
- Effectively work with and build relationships with others.

- Competitive pay structure starting at $18.50-$22.13 per hour, depending on experience. Differential pay for weekend shifts.
