The Sixth Street Early Insights Program is designed to give undergraduate students from all backgrounds an opportunity to explore and learn about the alternative investment industry. The 3-day curriculum features professional development and technical skills training, networking opportunities, an introduction to Sixth Street and the alternative investment industry, and insights into Sixth Street’s Early Careers programs.

This program is open to first or second-year undergraduate students (graduating between December 2027 and June 2029).

Note: no previous finance or investing experience is necessary. 

Application deadline: November 10, 2025

The program will be held in San Francisco from March 16 to March 19, 2026. Please consider your ability to fully participate in the program on those dates when choosing to apply. All travel and accommodations will be provided by Sixth Street. Candidates will be notified by the end of December if they are accepted into the program.

Please note that this is an unpaid experiential program focused on providing participants with exposure to the alternative investment industry. If accepted to participate, this does not constitute an offer of employment with Sixth Street. Participation in the program is voluntary and does not establish an employment relationship of any kind. This program is designed to benefit the participants and is an educational program.
