Masco Research & Development is looking for a dedicated, hands-on, and independently motivated person to join our eclectic Advanced Development (AD) team. This individual can look forward to contributing to collaborative, groundbreaking projects where emerging and novel technologies are explored and honed to create marketable products.
Job Responsibilities
System Establishment & Maintenance
Work independently and/or with team members to build experimental test fixtures and maintain regular calibration and monitoring of fixture components. Handle mild chemicals to prepare or maintain specific aqueous conditions, including GHS review and PPE planning before work engagement. Consider accurate waste management protocols at all stages.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain accurate records of experiments, results, and conclusions. Prepare clear and concise reports for the AD team and the greater R&D group. Regularly observe equipment performance and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering, physics, and/or chemistry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word.
