The Registered Nurse – Infertility Coordinator plays a critical role as a core member of our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. This position is responsible for coordinating patient care throughout the fertility journey—from the initial consultation through the entire treatment process—with compassion, clinical expertise, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient counseling, education, and emotional support on relevant health and fertility issues for both female and male patients.
- Educate patients on medication and injection administration.
- Collaborate with physicians and nurse practitioners to coordinate IUI, TI, and IVF cycles.
- Order medications and complete prior authorizations as needed.
- Assist with IVF retrievals and embryo transfers.
- Administer IV therapy as ordered by providers.
- Assist providers with in-office procedures.
- Ensure thorough and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team—including clinical, financial, and laboratory staff—to deliver exceptional patient care with attention to best practices, outcomes, and cost efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid Missouri RN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience in Women’s Health required; infertility experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated compassionate bedside manner—a must.
