Position: Player Services Supervisor. Hourly: $22.50/Hourly/Negotiable. Location: Gaming. Reports to: Player Services Manager

 

Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for the direct supervision of the department employees, which includes but not limited to  pre-shift staff meetings, counseling, carrying out disciplinary actions, annual evaluations, etc. 
  • Required to perform all duties of a Player Services Representative which include but not limited to  new member signups, entering/updating customer contact information, reprint player’s cards and troubleshoot card issues, if necessary, vault duties and to provide customer account information to requesting departments and/or guests. 
  • Must make daily operational problem-solving decisions as necessary and be able to mediate disputes amongst departmental employees or guests, if necessary. 
  • Must monitor the department operations to ensure operating in compliance with established department procedures. 
  • Daily monitoring of the cash funds and making suggestions as necessary. 
  • Entering all point adjustments on your assigned shift. 
  • Maintain/monitor promotional coupon levels, including gas certificate. 
  • Uphold superior standards of customer service. 
  • Maintain punctual and dependable attendance. 
  • Wear approved departmental uniform consistently. 
  • Always Comply with the Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy. 
  • Perform additional duties as assigned. 
  • Must obtain a high standard of confidentiality. 

 

Qualifications & Education 

  • High School Diploma or GED. 
  • Minimum of two (2) years working supervisory experience. 
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a Mohican Gaming License. 
  • Must submit to a Criminal Investigation Background Check (CIB). 
  • Must maintain an acceptable departmental attendance record. 
  • Must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug and health screening. 
  • Must be able to work weekends, nights and holidays. 
  • Must have excellent customer service skills and always maintain a professional attitude. 
  • Basic computer experience is required. 
  • Must have demonstrated ability to maintain satisfactory working record in any prior or current employment. 
  • Courteous and friendly demeanor. 
  • Prior experience in similar role preferred but not required. 
  • Must possess outstanding communication, organizational/supervisory skills and basic math skills including addition and subtraction. 
  • Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions effectively. 
  • Capacity to work with minimal supervision. 
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job. 

 

Work Conditions 

  • Continuous hand movements and use of finger dexterity. 
  • Standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, and bending as part of daily tasks. 
  • Must be able to stand in one area for an extended amount of time. 
  • Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to thirty (30) pounds. 
  • Specific vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception. 
  • Maintenance of excellent personal hygiene due to proximity to others. 
  • Smoke and dust-free work environment with varying noise levels as per location within the establishment.
