Join ChildServe as a Community Servies Supervisor to provide day-to-day supervision of Community Services, including our Childcare and Autism Day Programs.

 

Schedule

40 hours per week, Flexible hours between 7:30 AM and 6 PM.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact

 

  • Provide oversight of program capacity, admissions, waiting lists, and scheduling to ensure services meet utilization, occupancy, and staffing ratio targets.
  • Plan and oversee the Autism Day Program and Childcare programs, including preparation, training, funding, and communication with families and staff.
  • Organize and lead group and individual activities designed to promote social, emotional, and intellectual development.
  • Participate in recruiting, hiring, and training activities; provide staff coaching on interventions, behavior management, and positive behavior support techniques.
  • Manage program funding, billing accuracy, and grant opportunities; monitor utilization of authorized services to achieve budgeted outcomes.
  • Maintain knowledge of ChildServe and community resources, demonstrate effective communication and conflict resolution skills, and provide direct care support as needed.

 

What You’ll Need:

 

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Required: Minimum of one year supervisory experience
  • Preferred: One year experience working with children in a childcare setting, or children with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Demonstrate proficient organizational and time management skills with developed problem-solving skills and decision-making, and ability to prioritize multiple demands.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with others, both verbally and in writing, and foster effective relationships with co-workers, children, and families.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office, and ability to proficiently learn new software programs.
  • Must be able to pass a ChildServe physical examination prior to employment and thereafter as regulations require.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through reading, writing and speaking the English language
