Summit Home Care and Hospice is searching for an experienced and motivated Orders Management Coordinator to join our team. We’re committed to providing comprehensive healthcare services in the comfort of our patients' homes to positively impact quality of life by redefining the delivery of care.
Orders Management Coordinator:
- Job Type: Full-Time, Remote with On-Site Training
- Approved Remote Locations: Columbus, OH - Marietta, OH - Williamstown, WV
- Hours: Monday – Friday; 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Training: On-Site in Columbus, OH or Williamstown, WV
- Pay Rate: $17.00 -$20.00 per Hour
Responsibilities:
- Receive, review and upload physician orders for our home health care company.
- Maintain a high level of customer service when interacting with physicians’ offices to obtain orders.
- Obtain specific physician orders for patients and upload them to patient pages in our home health portal.
- Ensure that physicians orders are communicated to agency clinicians and staff with accuracy and thoroughness.
- Report and/or troubleshoot missing or incomplete documentation.
- Meet Orders Team daily productivity requirements.
- Uses office and other patient care software, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Work closely with outside physician’s office personnel to get orders in a timely manner, including frequent phone calls and operation of fax machines.
- Great customer service and problem-solving skills required!
- Perform other specific projects relating to data entry and computer operations as required.
- Always maintain confidentiality of patient and organization information.
Qualifications
Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years of experience in healthcare data entry preferred.
- Must have the Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team.
- Strong computer skills in data entry, Microsoft Excel and Word applications.
- Must be able to type 50 words per minute (WPM).
- Accurate and precise attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Goal-oriented, organized team player.
