What you will be doing

Responsibilities: 
•    Design, configure, and develop solutions within the HSS Data Team’s Lakehouse architecture, focusing on robust and scalable ETL workflows for both structured and unstructured data.
•    Design and manage end-to-end cloud-based software solutions – including AI-powered components – spanning backend services, APIs, and modern front-end applications.
•    Lead the design, configuration, and management of DevOps pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions to support continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring of cloud services.
•    Build and maintain secure, scalable data pipelines and APIs that support analytics, machine learning, and operational workloads.
•    Provide architectural guidance, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment with business and data strategies.
•    Define and evolve architectural standards, design patterns, and best practices across cloud, data, and application layers.
•    Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, providing code reviews, architectural guidance, and career development support.

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s Degree or higher
•    Minimum 4 years of experience with cloud architecture & implementing cloud solutions in AWS (AWS Certification preferred)
•    Minimum 4 years of experience with configuring and deploying AWS Data Analytics Serverless Services including but not limited to S3, Glue, Athena, Lambda, Step Functions
•    Experience with configuring and deploying ETL in Databricks a strong plus
•    Minimum 10 years of experience developing and deploying full stack software solutions using technologies like or similar to JavaScript/React, node.js and Postgres databases
•    Experience with Dev Ops processes using Git and GitHub actions preferred
•    Experience with Docker containers and creating Linux based Docker images a strong plus
•    Proficient in Python, JavaScript and similar languages
•    Proficient in SQL
•    Experience with PySpark a strong plus
