Work Location: Washington D.C. - position requires travel. 
Work Hours: Primarily Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

​​​​​​​Here is what you will need: 
  • 5 years of previous healthcare industry experience required.
  • Previous hospital leadership experience is preferred.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • 2 years of multisite management preferred.
  • Current ARRT certification preferred.
  • Current non-restricted licensure in the state of work location preferred.
  • Knowledge of database software and RIS software, SECTRA preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to present information and financials to executive level partners.
 
A Day in the Life of a Director of Operations: 
  • Provide services and support for the following areas:
    • Effectively handles patient complaints and escalates as appropriate, as evidenced by patient survey scores.
    • Develops and/or manages procedures and systems to respond to issues, brings them to successful resolution; follows up to ensure efficacy of the problem management process.
    • Ensures MQSA compliance as it relates to tracking, QA/QC and credentials by reviewing required record keeping at each regions center.
    • Ensures compliance with all policies and procedures Facility management.
    • Resource for escalation of all lease and vendor issues.
    • Identifies opportunities for consolidation and / or cost savings within region.
    • Liaison between Solis and property management companies.
    • Absorbs Center duties for centers in the region that do not have an assigned.
    • Organizes electronic communications and maintains documents for easy and efficient retrieval.
    • Ensures execution of repeatable model playbook across lines, including quality measures.
    • Participates and monitors continuous improvement efforts with region.
    • Ensures that centers are utilizing all available resources from the home office and the contact center.
    • Mentors and develops Center Operations Directors and future leaders for the region.
    • Oversee human resource management function at the center, ensuring compliance with employment laws, company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
    • Sends critical documentation (EEO charges, garnishments, legal documents) to HR within 24 hours of receipt and follows up accordingly.
    • Creates and maintains frequent and open communication and positive relationships with team members as evidenced by surveys and turnover.
    • Responsible for decisions relating to hiring, disciplinary actions, grievance discussions, coaching, development and recommendations of actions and decisions applicable for center staff.
    • Conducts and supervises orientation and training for center team members covering the Solis Way, Promise Book, and Playbook.
    • Collaborates with account executive and clinical leadership to develop and present the monthly business reviews.
    • Fiscally responsible for labor budget, supplies budget, revenue targets, profitability targets, patient care goals, turnaround times and cost for procedures.
    • Analyzes regional business and develops short and long term plans for revenue growth (including capital investments) and ensures ROI is achieved.
    • Evaluates and provides feedback on new opportunities including relocation, acquisitions, and renovations.
    • Point person for the operational issues or concerns for all referring physicians.
    • Understanding of the competitive environment, including marketplace, industry competition, and regulatory environment to ensure Solis is competitive in the marketplace.
    • Builds positive, professional relationships with members of the community.
    • Creates an environment that fosters collaboration and professionalism within the region.
    • Uses reward and recognition fairly to motivate and inspire.
    • Creates an environment that fosters and supports the Promise Book.
