  • Manages work groups representing multiple processes and/ or regions.
  • Designs, manages, and executes tactical business plan to deliver business strategy.
     
  • Manages program to achieve KPI targets.
  • Develops, executes multi-business programs.
  • Responsible for financial Business management, fostering growth of the service business through cost reductions of service delivery, maximizing lead generation and revenue recognition.
  • Understands and meets customer needs through the creation of services, the provision of effective delivery processes, and ongoing support.
  • Builds partnerships with other support organizations to ensure profitable revenue growth and optimize customer satisfaction.
  • Manages employees in Field Service Engineering and Service Tech Families to ensure successful implementation, installation, repair, calibration, and support of customers' (Agilent and/or non-Agilent) products/instruments.
  • Accountable for meeting P&L targets..
  • Establishes cross-functional connections and strong business relationships with key stakeholders across the designated customer organization.

Territory Details

  • The ideal candidate should reside within 30 miles of Rahway, NJ, with the ability to travel frequently to West Point, PA, or Boston..
  • Travel will primarily cover the Northeast region, with occasional trips to the West Coast.
  • The candidate is expected to maintain an on-site presence at Merck locations approximately 80% of the time ( 4 days a week), with the remaining 20% remote work.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree is highly preferred. Candidates with equivalent education and experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading people, projects, or programs—formally or informally.
  • Demonstrated strong management and leadership skills in implementing program and organizational strategies.
  • Experience with tools such as CRMs, SAP, enterprise solutions, or data analysis platforms is a plus!
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, critical for maintaining key stakeholder engagement and delivering on KPIs.
  • Ability to work onsite 4 days per week, with daily visits to designated sites and up to 30% travel.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license; a company vehicle will be provided for travel.

Additional Details

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Applications for this job will be accepted until at least November 3, 2025 or until the job is no longer posted. It is sales incentive eligible. In the US, this position is eligible for choice of company car or reimbursement for personal vehicle usage.

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $179,519.00 - $299,199.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
