Working Pattern: Full time (37.5 hrs per week) – Hybrid Working

Industrial Control, Safety and Security Group
We are seeking to appoint a Group Leader into post for the Bristol based Industrial Control, Safety and Security Group. As a Group Leader you will oversee a team providing design and assurance of industrial control systems, including Operational Technology Cyber Security aspects. The work the group undertakes requires a knowledge of functional safety management and assurance of control and instrumentation.
What you’ll do:
Lead C&I projects from concept design through to commissioning.
Novel process control system design, including accompanying safety systems.
Formal functional safety certification/accreditation.
Understand or awareness of Cyber Security standards such as IEC 62443.
Delivery of innovation projects, taking new systems and technologies from concept through to acceptance.
Managing the production, verification and approval of; electrical reports, specifications, and detailed design drawings.
Managing a project team to ensure production of deliverables to agreed timelines and within budget.
Client facing to develop requirements and negotiating contracts / agreements, and progress reporting and risk management.
