ICT - Driving Technological Transformation 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Wiltshire Council’s ICT department working in the Automation & Integration team, as a Senior Data Engineer.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing data pipelines and infrastructure, enabling efficient data processing and analysis for smarter insights and data flows. You’ll work with big data technologies, build ETL processes, and support Data Analysts in turning raw data into meaningful stories.

We are looking for a candidate with strong expertise, including building and optimising ETL processes, developing data warehousing solutions, CI/CD pipelines, data modelling and experience with data migration projects. Strong communication skills, and a creative approach to problem-solving are essential.

This role requires on-site presence in Trowbridge one to two days per week, with flexibility to work remotely for the remainder.
