Newscast Director bei STG MEDIA CLOUD

WKEF has an immediate opening for a Newscast Director. In this role, you'll be helping direct our fast-paced morning show and helping facilitate a steady stream of guests appearing on the morning show. You will also help run the teleprompter for on-air talent and prepare the studio for various segments.  

The main responsibilities of this role will include: 

• Helping direct morning show which includes punching up cameras, microphones and graphics
• Facilitate guests on the show by putting on microphones and directing them to their places in studio
• Running teleprompter for on-air talent
• Setting up and tearing down studio before and after shows

The skills you'll need to be successful in this role: 

• Quick thinking
• The ability to adapt quickly and solve problems with flexibility and efficiency
• An eagerness to learn and grow
• Strong leadership and clear communication
• Proficiency in Avid, Adobe Premiere and Adobe Express a plus
• Sound news judgement 
• Effectively manages time and prioritizes tasks
