Join the experience as we are seeking energetic and enthusiastic Houseman at Roost Philadelphia- including both Roost East Market and Roost Midtown. As a Houseman, you are responsible for providing quality guest service as it pertains to packages, storage room organization and bell duty services in a gracious and professional manner.
Job Description:
- Must be available to work across both properties as needed- Roost East Market and Roost Midtown.
- Responsibilities include light painting and general maintenance touch-ups, room stripping, and assisting the housekeeping team with daily operations.
- Responsible for performing general housekeeping duties in apartments, public areas and support areas as assigned while meeting or exceeding Roost's quality standards.
- Responsible for collecting, cleaning and redistributing the hotel supplies and laundry.
- Cleans assigned rooms within shift time requirements, passing all inspections.
- Adheres to established cleaning schedules and methods to extend life of apartment's furnishings and professional appearance of apartments.
- Demonstrates working knowledge and team effort in accomplishing additional projects as assigned.
- Performs all duties in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
- Basic English language skills.
- Previous experience preferred.
- Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods to clean and organize the guest rooms, spaces, storage, equipment, etc.
- Ability to lift, balance and carry up to 25 lbs. to transport carts, cleaning supplies, linen, equipment, etc
- Full Time Position- 40 hours, weekdays and weekends (this position will not have a set schedule).
- Flexibility with work schedule.
