 We are seeking an accomplished and experienced Senior Principal Technical Program Manager to join our dynamic Database Development organization. In this role, you will partner closely with engineering teams to accelerate development pipelines, optimize workflows, and drive operational excellence within a fast-paced product delivery environment. Through process engineering, automation, and tooling improvements, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality database and cloud solutions at greater speed and efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • 10–12 years of progressive professional experience, with significant exposure to internal development or engineering environments.
  • Proven ability to quickly assess, understand, and improve complex engineering systems, architectures, and workflows.
  • Advanced understanding of engineering architecture, source code management system, and end-to-end development pipeline management.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully implementing process optimization and automation within large-scale engineering teams.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience with modern CI/CD tools and automation frameworks strongly preferred.

Responsibilities


Technical Program Management

  • Lead and manage complex engineering initiatives across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering leadership and architects in designing and implementing new engineering tools and services.
  • Oversee the design and development of application solutions in Oracle APEX, with a focus on office space management use cases.
 

Process Engineering & Optimization

  • Accelerate development pipelines and engineering workflows across Database and Cloud product teams.
  • Drive continuous improvements in CI/CD pipelines for faster, more reliable, and high-quality software delivery.
  • Reduce manual work by automating code reviews, issue tracking, release management, and related processes.
  • Partner with engineering to introduce tools and process enhancements aimed at eliminating daily development friction.
  • Define and track key performance indicators to measure the impact of workflow improvements.
 

Cross-Team Leadership & Change Management

  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, operations, product management, and leadership to align process initiatives and technical projects with strategic priorities.
  • Facilitate clear communication and coordination across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Evaluate existing processes to identify opportunities for optimization or transformation.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and agile delivery.
  • Serve as a thought leader for process engineering and program management within the organization.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $109,200 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
