Job Description:
Assist in ensuring accurate reporting of daily, weekly and monthly performance measurement related to Corporate Investments Group's portfolios. Assist in the research and development of the required infrastructure to support new products or trading/hedging strategies.

Seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Associate to join our Loan Portfolio Management team. This role will focus on daily and monthly pledge file generation, data reconciliation, and submission processes to the Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB) and Federal Reserve Bank (FRB).Supporting data integrity and pledging teams driving process enhancements through system automation and data analysis. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely pledge execution while contributing to ongoing control and efficiency improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Support daily and monthly pledge file generation, reconciliation, and submission processes to the FHLB and FRB.
  • Assist with rules analysis related to GSE agency eligibility criteria and pledge data, ensuring alignment with internal and external requirements.
  • Assist with pledge and pooling platform capabilities, ensuring accurate data flow and system functionality for transaction readiness.
  • Perform quantitative analysis to evaluate liquidity strategies, execution efficiency, and reporting accuracy.
  • Help prepare reports and dashboards for senior leadership, risk, and finance partners to support business reviews and audit needs.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvement, system automation, and internal documentation to enhance operational resilience.
  • Partner with technology teams to identify and implement system automation and data integrity improvements.
  • Monitor and maintain documentation to support audits, regulatory reviews, and internal control standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance process efficiency, accuracy, and overall operational resiliency.
  • Support daily funding resource management and contribute to optimization initiatives across enterprise funding channels.
  • Pool, review, and prepare mortgage-backed securities (MBS) for sales.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to manage transaction pipelines, timelines, and end-to-end execution processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 years experience in an analyst or technical type role in the financial industry
  • Proficiency in database querying tools (example: Toad for Oracle, Toad Data Point, SQL Server)
  • Needs to be comfortable using functions such as COUNTS, SUMS, JOINS, Case statements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel:
    • Experience using these functions: COUNT, COUNTIF, COUNTIFS, SUM, SUMIF, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, IF, MAX, MIN, AVERAGE. 
    • Experience with Pivot tables and using Excel to compare data sets and conducting trend analysis
  • Robust problem solving and analytical skills, with superior attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while multitasking and meeting strict deadlines
  • Highly motivated and enjoys taking initiative
  • Embraces challenges and change
  • Needs to be comfortable looking at XML files

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Business or Data Science or 5 years experience in an analyst or technical role
  • Experience delivering change using Software Development Lifecycle processes
  • Familiarity with Agile software delivery methodologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiar with FHLB, FRB, FHLMC, FNMA and GNMA
  • Familiar with Single Process Inventory and POP

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$90,000.00 - $139,500.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
