Scale House Operator

• The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 2nd Shift 3pm-11pm.  Occasional work on Saturdays and Holidays.

• Must be able to work 12 hour shifts at times

• Weighing trucks, issuing scale tickets, and inputting information into Mtech

• Answer phone

• Must have good communication skills and ability to communicate with internal and external truck drivers

• Communicate with live haul supervisor and manager daily

• Basic computer skills- Be familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Monitor yard time of live poultry and the flow of loads arriving at the plant

• Good record keeping skills and maintaining logbooks

• Inspect all live haul trailers on arrival for open cages.

• Must maintain a safe working environment and help and assist live haul supervisors and manager as needed.

• Perform general housekeeping duties inside scale house.
