Monitor Tech - Days bei Odessa Reg Med Ctr

Hours: 7a-7p

Job Duties:

• Examines heartbeat patterns on electrocardiograph monitors.
• Makes note of irregular rhythms and monitors changes in heartbeat.
• Ensures that monitors are functioning properly. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
• Works under general supervision.
• Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Associates degree preferred and at least 1 year of experience in the field.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
