The Role
We are looking for a driven Sales Executive who thrives on creating opportunities and winning new business. This is a full-cycle, hunter role for someone who loves building pipeline, running discovery, delivering demos, and closing deals. You’ll be selling a first-to-market service that combines AI-powered fraud detection with A-rated insurance, something no other company offers. You’ll work closely with marketing and SDR teams for lead generation support while also prospecting and developing your own book of business. You’ll help financial institutions, financial services, and digital platforms transfer identity fraud loss to insurance, improve customer onboarding, and unlock new revenue through innovation. Below, we have reflected the base salary range we would offer for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of Instnt’s total compensation package for employees, with equity being a significant part of the overall offer.

New York City: $120K- 140K yearly

What You’ll Do

  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects through outbound and inbound efforts
  • Execute the full sales cycle from outreach to close, owning discovery, demos, negotiation, and contracting
  • Develop deep expertise in Instnt’s AI and insurance solutions and translate that knowledge into clear, compelling conversations with prospects
  • Partner with marketing and SDR teams to optimize lead generation, messaging, and conversion
  • Collaborate with product and customer success to ensure seamless onboarding and high customer satisfaction
  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets while maintaining strong CRM hygiene and forecasting discipline

Who You Are

  • You are a hunter by nature and the idea of selling a first to market service excites you
  • You have experience selling in to financial institutions (banks, credit unions) fintech or SaaS environments and can confidently navigate technical and business discussions
  • You are consultative, persuasive, and able to tailor value-based solutions to each client
  • You are resourceful, proactive, and motivated by impact more than structure
