A Day in the Life
This job role is focused on providing world class customer finance quality assurance support to both internal business partners and external customers regarding invoice and order discrepancies. This includes working within a cross-functional team to accurately research, analyze and process credits, debits and price override requests. In addition, this role will provide a high level of professional support and partnership with key stakeholders, completing frequent data analysis and trending while proactively identifying issues in an effort to reduce discrepancies and increase customer satisfaction.A Day in the Life:
- Manage and process regional pricing discrepancies while ensuring exceptional quality and service level agreements are consistently met
- Proactively identify root cause, trends, issues, barriers and knowledge gaps through analytics
- Assist with the research, preparation and presentation of quarterly business reviews and revenue recognition activities
- Develop rapport with customers and business partners to provide a high-quality world-class experience
- Understand and utilize proper coding and professional documentation to ensure accurate reporting
- Active participation in process improvement initiatives, taking cross-functional and standardized work into consideration to better serve the customer and/or improve productivity
- Understand and adhere to FDA regulations, SOX compliance and department standard operating procedures
- Demonstrate a high level of order/issue ownership which includes: understanding, guiding and fully completing the request
- Align objectives/goals with the organization’s strategic direction; ensuring operational efficiency, consistency within compliance guidelines; understanding customer needs and implementing processes that continuously meet or exceed expectations
- Assist in Medtronic objectives to decrease days sales outstanding (DSO) and discrepancy or exception orders
- Collaboration with the Customer Finance Quality Assurance team in our SSC.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Requires High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of Medtronic Customer Service experience or other Contact Center experience (OR an associate’s degree with 1+ year(s) experience OR a bachelor’s degree).
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of Customer Care processes and techniques
- Systems knowledge: SAP (including RADAR and FSCM experience), Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- This exciting opportunity requires you to work a flexible schedule as the business dictates
- 3+ years proven customer service and/or contact center experience
- Credit mentor experience
- Proficient with credit processing, invoicing, pricing, contracts, etc.
- Business Objects knowledge
- Demonstrated high critical thinking, conflict resolution, and independent working skills
- Demonstrated high ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with customers/patients/business partners to answer questions and to resolve issues according to department protocols and requirements
- Demonstrated high ability to collaborate within a changing team environment
- Proven ability to produce consistent, detail oriented, quality work
- Experience working with technical information
- Experience working in medical device or healthcare industry
