This role is mostly remote; however, it will require occasional onsite meetings in the Bethesda, MD area. With no travel reimbursements allocated. This role is contingent based on contract award.


 MBL Technologies is seeking an experienced Data Loss Prevention Subject-Matter Expert/Technical Lead:  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred

 

• Operating data loss prevention tools (data in motion, data at rest, data in use), and analyzing and interpreting results

 

• protecting sensitive data and securing transmission avenues, such as M365, email, web and cloud.

 

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security

 

• 3+ years specifically with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools and technologies

 

• Experience leading or being the technical point of contact in enterprise-scale DLP implementations

 

• Prior experience in large environments (10k+ endpoints/users), preferably supporting 50k+ clients.

 

• Experience integrating DLP solutions with SIEMs (e.g., Splunk)


• Design, implement, and maintain DLP policies, incident workflows, and governance processes; conduct risk assessments,   policy tuning, and incident triage to ensure effective data protection.
