Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Update and maintain student management system and web-based computer training projects according to current and changing demands.
  • Track, analyze, and report on student progression through training from class start date through graduation.
  • 607th ACS FTU, Luke AFB, AZ. The position shall include the following:
  • Consolidate the names from individual units to form the rosters of all classes. Work with AETC/A3ZA and the units to fill vacated slots prior to class start dates.
  • Submit a finalized class roster to the Training SME two workdays after the first day of class.
  • Conduct first day orientation, local area, local policies, and other briefings to orientate students. 
  • Coordinate with local agencies that provide services for the students attending all courses sponsored by the 607 ACS. Maintain rapport with local and on-base agencies to solve all issues involving students. 
  • Track student academics as they progress through training.
  • Manage appointments and track missed school time.
  • Coordinate graduation exercises and prepare student graduation materials.
  • Arrange and coordinate departure of students. Ensure all local agencies are alerted and prepared for student departures. Make travel arrangements and coordinate all transportation appointments (e.g., airport pickup). 
  • Communicate departure information to unit POCs.
  • Forward required training documents to appropriate agencies IAW LOP. 
  • Maintain completed paper records.
  • Prepare Student Handbook IAW the Style Guide.
  • Coordinate, track, process and/or disseminate applicable documents that pertain to accomplishment of training. Examples include but not limited to:
  • Student Report on Individual Personnel (RIP)
  • Welcome Packet and Letters’
  • Defense Information System for Security (DISS) requests
  • Entry Access List (EAL) requests
  • Training Completion letters, amendments, and certificates
  • CRC MQT Course Summary and Output Trends slides (course metrics)
  • Course Summary Report for the 552nd TRSS CC/DO and GSU CC/DO
  • CRC MQT feedback (immediate and 6-month)
  • Critique Quarterly Report
  • Other duties as identified and assigned.


 

Qualifications


Required Education and Experience

  • Five years’ experience as a first line supervisor. Five years’ experience with, or related field, student registration/in-processing. Proficient with current Microsoft Office and Windows OS IAW AFNIC Standard configuration.
  • Associate’s degree and Instructor/education experience.

Security Responsibilities

  • Eligible and obtain (if required) a DoD Personnel Security Clearance.
  • Must comply with all company Information Systems security policies and procedures. 
  • May be responsible for proper classification and marking of all information and materials. Employee shall not divulge any information, or afford access to other employees not having a need-to-know authorization. Shall not divulge information outside the company without management approval. Will be required to execute company non-disclosure agreement prior to access to any controlled information. 


Language Skills
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex words and technical documents/diagrams.  Must be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing and work effectively as part of a team.

Reasoning Ability and Mathematical Skills 
Must be able to analyze problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  An ability to interpret complex customer requirements and attitudes from verbal, non-verbal, and written communication is desirable. Must be able to calculate figures and numbers, and percentages and be able to draw and interpret graphs. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and drawings.

  • Must be able to lift and/or move at least 50 pounds.

  • Must be able to detect odors, noises, bangs, etc., or other sounds to detect discrepancies of malfunctioning equipment. 
  • Must be able to distinguish colors. 
  • Must be able to perform Domestic and International travel as required. 
  • Shop floor environment.  
  • Will be working in areas with risk of injury from electrical applications, moving mechanical parts, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems under pressure and electrical motion systems.  
  • May be exposed to conditions of extreme heat, airborne particles, and loud noises.
