Your Mission:

The Portfolio Project Analyst plays a key role in supporting IT and business leadership by analyzing data trends, managing portfolio priorities, and ensuring accurate reporting across departments. This role is responsible for coordinating project requests, overseeing data governance and labor cost analysis, and preparing timely dashboards and performance metrics to guide decision-making. Acting as a liaison between IT and business teams, the position ensures data integrity, resource optimization, and effective communication of insights to leadership.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Analyze and present data trends from dashboards to business and IT leadership.
  • Leads in the prioritization of IT demands requiring sponsor approvals and communicate outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Manage cross-departmental data integrations, prepare consolidated reports, and provide leadership with insights to identify issues and implement solutions.
  • Oversee labor cost analysis across IT and business entities and delivering monthly reports to IT leadership.
  • Track and report on data governance metrics related to project costs for leadership review.
  • Monitor resource utilization and provide regular updates to IT leaders.
  • Act as liaison for project requests across IT departments, ensuring appropriate approvals for program activation.  
  • Prepare accurate, timely program status dashboards and QA metrics throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with IT and business teams to identify and communicate data requirements necessary to resolve dashboard issues.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in business administration, project management, finance/accounting, communications or related field. Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of data visualization or portfolio experience, ideally in a corporate or cross-functional setting.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships
  • Demonstrated research, analytical, and problem-solving skills are important
  • Proven ability to manage complex data QA assessments, prioritize effectively, and adapt to evolving demands
  • This role requires strategic thinking to ensure project alignment with the organization’s vision and a proactive approach to portfolio management
  • Experience handling highly confidential information is necessary
  • Competency in Microsoft Office, internet use, and databases is expected
  • High accuracy, attention to detail, willingness to take on challenges, and sound judgment in planning and accomplishing goals are valued traits

What Will Make You Stand Out:

  • Project management certifications (such as CAPM, PMP, or similar) would be a plus but not always required.
  • Previous experience in using visualization tools and excel is preferred

Working Conditions:

  • The position operates mainly in a standard office environment, with occasional exposure to kitchen equipment and food odors
