What is a Sales Support Coordinator?

The Sales Support Coordinator plays a key role within the sales department, providing essential support to the sales team and ensuring a smooth customer experience from order placement through fulfillment. This position collaborates closely with internal teams - including planning, operations, and logistics - as well as external customers, to facilitate clear communication and accurate order processing.

The role includes data entry, customer correspondence, and administrative coordination to support sales activities and maintain strong customer relationships.

 

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have at least one year production and/or process improvement experience. Proficient in MS Office products. Outstanding written and oral communication skills. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Detail oriented and analytical.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate and communicate internally across departments to ensure timely execution of high-priority orders.
  2. Serve as a point of contact for customers, providing proactive updates on production and delivery status.
  3. Create and maintain high-level Gantt charts to support project and order tracking.
  4. Enter and manage data in the Sales CRM system with accuracy and attention to detail.
  5. Prepare and deliver timely reports for high-visibility customers.
  6. Interact and communicate with all levels of employees within the Company, as well as suppliers, customers and peers effectively.
  7. Comply with policies, procedures, standards and rules of the Company.
  8. Maintain quality assurance policy consistent with ISO standards.
  9. Maintain work area in a clean, orderly and safe manner.
  10. Punctual, regular and consistent attendance.
  11. Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.

 

Required Experience and Education

High school diploma or equivalent. At least one year production and/or process improvement experience required. Proficient in MS Office products. Outstanding written and oral communication skills. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Detail oriented and analytical. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with change priorities and deadlines. Ability to follow-through on commitments with high attention to detail. Able to read, write, and follow verbal instructions in Standard English.

 

Physical and Technical Environment

Minimal lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally. Must be able to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend and stoop in a normal office environment. Normal vision and manual dexterity for office duties. Normal office environment, changing deadlines, project assignments, strict time constraints.
