POSITION SUMMARY
The Accounts Receivable Finance Coordinator is one of the primary points of contact for any third-party financing programs offered by the cooperative, in addition to performing core daily accounts receivable bookkeeping duties. The position involves high level communication with both customers and location staff, including in-person and/or virtual demonstrations and training.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare year end audit work papers in conjunction with the annual audit process.
- Assist with entering and depositing customer payments and recording other miscellaneous cash transactions into the general ledger.
- Partner with Accounts Receivable Manager in monthly processing and mailing of patron statements.
- Process customer transactions through various outside financing companies through their websites.
- Assist with electronic HelpDesk ticketing system for handling location requests and questions pertaining to customer accounts and bank deposits.
- Respond to internal and external calls regarding Accounts Receivable questions and/or problems and resolves accordingly.
- Assist the credit department with reconciling past due accounts.
- Reconcile various general ledger and banking accounts on both daily and monthly basis.
- Train location staff on various outside financing programs and processing requirements.
- Track available financing program options and usage, and assists in evaluating the risks and opportunities to the cooperative for any new financing program options.
- Continually identify efficiencies in practices and procedures
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- Associates degree in accounting or related program and 2 or more years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- English proficiency.
- Must be 18 years or older.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related program and 2 or more years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience in a cooperative setting preferred.
