THE JOB:

As a Temporary Laborer, you are responsible for providing general assistance across various areas of the property, including assisting with equipment moves, demolition, and cleanup for construction projects. Your role involves operating motorized equipment, maintaining cleanliness and safety protocols, and completing assigned tasks efficiently while adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.

THE STARTING RATE: $29.27 hourly

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Collecting/carrying required parts materials and equipment to designated work areas; assisting with office, furniture and casino equipment moves, and with demolition and clean up on construction projects

• Pick up parts and supplies from vendors, keep the property maintenance department warehouse clean and orderly

• Responsible for completion of all jobs assigned by Dispatch or Management and maintaining logbooks

• Operate motorized/power equipment; skyjack, forklift, scissor lift, jackhammer, and other heavy machinery; fuel and service engineering vehicles; maintain inventory of keys and tools in the Engineering Tool Room

• Work under minimal supervision to complete tasks in a timely manner

• Keep informed and updated on current techniques and technical methods and advise the Shift Supervisor of any unusual conditions within the property

• Maintain constant awareness of personal and property cleanliness, safety, and accident prevention; able to wear/use personal protective equipment (p.p.e.)

• Perform other job-related duties as requested

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.

• 1+ years of prior relevant experience in the hospitality industry or a similar environment preferred

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
