Overview


This position is a crucial position within our organization focused on maintaining and improving the quality of products, services, and processes. This role involves diverse duties and responsibilities to ensure that all aspects of production meet or exceed established quality standards. The primary goal is to identify areas that need to be improved and work towards enhancing the overall quality, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with regulatory standards.


Specific Accountabilities


  • Interpret and implement quality assurance standards, drafting quality assurance policies and procedures when needed. Evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards
  • Maintenance of AS9100 Certifications and assessment interface with 3rd party Registrar
  • Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems
  • Perform regular quality assurance audits to ensure adherence to established standards and regulatory compliance through internal audits and other quality assurance activities.
  • Conduct detailed analysis to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement in product and process quality based upon customer complaints and non-conformance issues
  • Analyze data and produce comprehensive reports detailing findings and recommending actionable improvements.
  • Develop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventive actions 
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements to products and processes
  • Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards
  • Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers
  • Develop and maintain quality standards and procedures in collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with QMS procedures, work instructions and "Best Practices" throughout the facility
  • Assist personnel with completion of vendor and customer quality surveys 
  • Responsible for managing company approved vendor listings.
  • Evaluate and approve vendor selections
  • Maintain logbooks, ensuring all maintenance is performed on Regional One facility, machinery, etc. 
  • Coordinate and conduct internal and external ISO audits to maintain the company’s compliance with the accreditation body

Manage customer feedback – circulate Customer Feedback Form for the Sales Team to distribute to their customers. Once they are returned, conduct Customer Feedback Analysis process


Qualifications

  • HS Diploma/ GED Required College degree preferred
  • Minimum of two years of experience in the aviation industry
  • Quantum Control knowledge and experience
  • Strong analytical skills, a desire to ask questions and solve problems
  • Able to work in a team environment, e.g., cooperating with co-workers, joint problem solving, etc.
  • Able to communicate both timely and effectively written and orally 
  • Able to maintain organization and handle multiple projects at the same time
