Program Director, Internal Medicine Residency & Medical Director -

West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Medicine seek a board-certified internist to serve as Program Director, Internal Medicine Residency & Medical Director Camden Clark Internal Medicine Clinic.


This position will provide leadership and oversight as Program Director, Internal Medicine Residency & Medical Director at Camden Clark Internal Medicine Clinic. The successful candidate may practice in the areas of inpatient and outpatient medicine. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in the teaching of medical students and residents.  Opportunities exist to participate in clinical and translational research, as well as participate in quality research.

Appropriate candidates will be qualified for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank. This position will be expected to practice in the primary location Camden Clark Internal Medicine Clinic in Parkersburg, WV. 

Qualifications: applicants must have a MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for a state medical license. Candidates must be board certified in internal medicine at the time of appointment. A minimum of three years of experience required. Established evidence of academic and/or administrative achievements is a plus. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with credentials. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
