QUALIFICATIONS |
|
Must have a high school diploma or GED and be 25 years of age, OR Must have a high school diploma or GED and, if less than 25 years of age, must be enrolled in a teacher preparation program. |
|
POSITION SUMMARY |
|
Provide classroom coverage as assigned when the certified teacher is absent. The substitute must be confident in teaching a wide range of developmental age groups from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12. |

Communicate with parents when issues arise and as appropriate. |

Communicate with administrators or Team Coordinators when issues arise. |

Assist in supervision during student breaks |

Maintaining up-to-date records of assessment, attendance, planning, reports, conferences, and communication with parents, as necessary |

Assisting, as required, in the development of curricular materials |

Participating in and assisting with school events as needed |
