Position Overview

Signal Energy is looking for a Technical Training Intern for Summer 2026.  This opportunity will support the development and delivery of technical training programs. This role is ideal for someone passionate about renewable energy and technical education, looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, growing industry.

You will assist the Talent Development team with designing, building and implementing training resources to maximize employee performance. Through meaningful project work and collaboration with cross-functional teams, you’ll gain insight into how a fast-paced clean energy company nurtures and scales its workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and developing training content
  • Support the coordination and scheduling of training sessions (virtual and onsite)
  • Help maintain training records, attendance logs, and feedback reports
  • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to gather technical information for training material
  • Create presentations, manuals, SOPs, and e-learning modules
  • Analyze training feedback and recommend improvements

 

Qualifications

Education:

  • Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree/diploma in Human Resources, Human Resource Development, Instructional Design or a related field
  • At least a 3.0 GPA

Skills & Competencies:

  • Passionate about people development, learning strategy, and organizational effectiveness
  • Strong interest in solar energy and technical training
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially PowerPoint), or similar tools
  • Experience with Articulate or another training software a plus
  • Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
