ACCOUNTING BACKGROUND IS REQUIRED!

The responsibilities of a Seasonal Accountant include but are not limited to…

• Prepare/Review income tax returns for our clients

• Strong organizational skills

• General accounting transactions:  journal entries, account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, operational accounting
• Analyzing Financial statements and financial forecast
• Proficient in the use of various software programs required
• Other accounting-related transactions assigned

Preferred Experience/Background/Skills

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or related degree
• CPA preferred 
• At least 3 years of experience is preferred
• Prior public accounting experience is preferred
• Strong technical skills including the ability to effectively utilize technology and the commitment to learning in a technology environment
• General ledger, month, quarter and year-end close, account reconciliations
• Excellent supervisory and leadership capabilities
• Energetic, enthusiastic and willingness to take initiative
• Ability to meet challenging client requirements and provide quality client service
• Utilize analytical and research abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel required)
• Excellent interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
• Strict adherence to professional ethics
• Ability to successfully contribute to the success of a strategic business unit of the firm
