About the Role: 

As a key member of our sales team, you will play a pivotal role in driving new relationships and expanding PubMatic’s presence across independent agencies. You’ll leverage your industry knowledge and sales expertise to exceed revenue targets, implement strategic programs, and communicate effectively across all levels. If you’re passionate about digital advertising and have a track record of success in agency sales, this role is for you. 

  What You'll Do: 

  • Drive platform spend growth within independent agencies to meet and exceed revenue goals while continuously prospecting new business. 
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews and provide ongoing direct client management and entertainment. 
  • Partner closely with independent agency teams, delivering exceptional customer service and proactive media packaging of publisher opportunities to drive revenue. 
  • Identify additional revenue opportunities within existing accounts to maximize client potential. 
  • Develop a strong understanding of PubMatic’s technology and media solutions, effectively communicating the value proposition to drive business growth. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Technical Operations, Publisher Sales, Publisher Account Management, Ad Solutions, and Product Management to deliver on client needs and strategic goals. 
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and stay ahead of industry trends. 

Who You Are: 

  • Ten or more years in sales or business development within digital advertising, with a focus on building and growing relationships across independent agencies. Relevant experience includes working with publishers, ad networks, SSPs, ad exchanges, DSPs, and ad agencies. 
  • Strong knowledge of programmatic buying and selling, including pricing models, optimization tactics, audience trends, and buying technologies. 
  • Proficiency in Excel with a proven ability to analyze data and drive business decisions. 
  • Skilled in crafting compelling presentations (PowerPoint) and negotiating effectively with clients. 
  • Flexible, start-up mindset with a track record of success in fast-paced environments. 

Compensation Disclosure

In accordance with applicable law, the below salary range provided is PubMatic’s reasonable estimate of the total compensation for this role. New hires and current team members are typically compensated toward the middle of our pay range. The actual amount may vary, based on non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. In addition to salary PubMatic also offers a bonus, restricted stock units, and a competitive benefits package.
