POSITION OVERVIEW:
White Castle Las Vegas is seeking friendly, fun and energetic Team Members to help us create our famous “steam-grilled-on-a-bed-of-onions Sliders” as well as memorable moments for the most loyal customer base around! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
Provide exceptional customer service to all customers.
Responsible for the appearance of store. Ensure that it is clean, neat, organized and provides a positive shopping experience for all.
Responsible for accurate POS transactions.
Responsible for the stocking and cleaning of the store.
Maintain the cleanliness and management of the gas pumps and outside appearance of the store.
Provide support to team members and promote a positive team environment.
Ensure patrons’ needs related to their visit are addressed while in the venue (food quality, service issues, etc.).
Maintain a comfortable environment for guests by monitoring and addressing issues with respect to air temperature, music volume, music selection, intoxicated individuals, unauthorized solicitations, etc.
Limit restroom access to authorized patrons of the establishment.
Prevent the introduction of outside food & beverage, including alcoholic beverages, from being brought into the venue by informing patrons these items are prohibited and refer to the posted signage if necessary. At no time will the Kitchen Worker attempt to either physically take an item in the possession of a patron or to make physical contact with him/her.
Continually monitor the “front of the house” areas for cleanliness and bring any issues requiring attention to the MOD.
Use only verbal communication to deescalate potentially dangerous and/or volatile situations and contact the appropriate law enforcement authorities should a situation be deemed necessary.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be 16 years of age
Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks at once.
Dedication to Integrity, Teamwork and Customer Service.
The ability to maintain composure during time of uncertainty.
Excellent communication skills.
Previous POS experience is a plus.
Must be willing and able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.
Work Cards required for jurisdiction must be provided prior to the start date.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Valid Health Card
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

COMPENSATION
$15 per hour
