Commercial Account Manager

We’re looking for a Commercial Account Manager who thrives on building strong relationships, solving problems, and driving strategic growth. This role is central to our customer experience—connecting clients with internal teams, managing programs from concept to completion, and ensuring long-term success.
What You’ll Do
Customer Relationships
- Build trust and long-term partnerships with key accounts
- Serve as the main point of contact for commercial activity and issue resolution
- Understand competitor positioning and identify growth opportunities
Program & Lifecycle Management
- Coordinate internal efforts across the full product lifecycle—from concept to phase-out
- Manage service agreements and ensure smooth transitions during product changes
Quoting & Negotiation
- Lead RFQs, pricing strategies, and cost models
- Collaborate with engineering and purchasing to develop competitive quotes
- Negotiate pricing, design changes, and cost recovery claims
Technical Engagement
- Understand customer programs and product requirements
- Support engineering and quality teams in resolving technical issues
- Stay familiar with manufacturing processes to improve communication and outcomes
Account Strategy
- Develop and execute account plans to drive repeat business
- Lead on-site meetings to strengthen relationships and uncover new opportunities
- Ensure smooth handoff and continuity after business awards
Reporting & CRM
- Maintain accurate CRM records and track account health
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities
What You Bring
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field
- 1–3 years of B2B experience in a related industry
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and product lifecycles
- Familiarity with manufacturing and quality standards
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Excel
- Knowledge of VA/VE, SWOT, and QCDD tools
