The hourly range for this role is $25.00 to $30.00. siffron considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

JOB SUMMARY

Work with Production team to modify, improve and clean existing extrusion using basic tool room equipment. Also work with plant manager, production supervisor and maintenance teams to fix or improve anything related to the manufacturing process. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Analyzes and optimizes existing tooling.

· Setup and operate tool room machines.

PERFORMANCE MEASURES

· Prioritize projects effectively to ensure deadlines are met.

· Insures manufactured functionality and quality requirements of designs.

· Compliance with company policies (e.g. Safety, Attendance, etc.)

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITY

This job does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Regular attendance is expected and required. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

EDUCATION, LICESES, AND EXPERIENCE

· 5-8 years of machining 

· Computer knowledge of Solid works and 3D CAD preferred but not necessary.

SKILLS (Language, Mathematical, Reasoning, Other)

· Must be able to communicate/read/write in the English language.

· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Must be able to work well with others or in an individual capacity.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

· Must be adaptable and have the flexibility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

· Must have the ability to coordinate several activities simultaneously.

· Must be able to stand for prolonged periods.

· Must be able to lift 50lbs.

· Vision requirements include the ability to read small print, differentiate colors, see to the side when looking straight ahead, to perceive relative distance, and interpret different sizes and features.
