District Sales Manager
Location: Southern California and Neveda

Reporting
to: Western Area Sales Director
This position will oversee client
relationships at target accounts, drive sales growth, and collaborate with
sales representatives to ensure customer needs are met. It will also
include responsibilities to identify new business opportunities and building
strategic relationships within the Aerospace & Defense market in North
America. This role requires a strategic mindset to align with MACOM’s
corporate goals and maintain long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with sales representatives at all account locations and ensure customer requirements are met.
- Conduct sales calls and lead new business development initiatives, cross selling all MACOM product lines to achieve design wins on all major platforms. Strengthen customer relationship across all programs and further develop strategic position, including building relationships with stakeholders in government agencies.
- Achieve sales goals and targets aligned with Business Units
- Communicate regularly with clients to resolve issues and ensure brand consistency.
- Analyze and report sales performance, market trends and competitor landscape.
- Represent MACOM at key industry events to showcase our technical capabilities
- Publish customer call reports, develop and track new opportunities using
MACOM CRM software
Requirements:
- Proven experience in account management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and public speaking skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or program management within aerospace/defense sectors.
- Strong networking skills with exposure to executive levels in the Department of Defense or related industries.
- Ability to travel (40%+), with preference for candidates holding active security clearance.
The Salary Range for this position is $160,000 – $180,000. The role also qualifies for Sales commission. Actual salary offered to candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates’ experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
